ABOUT
Flameout Graphics became a
reality after friends kept commenting on how good some flame
drawings looked. Now there have been flames drawn with magic
marker on practically everything, going back some 30+ years.
From elementary to high school, every book was covered with a
brown paper bag, and they all had flames of varying styles.
Then it was lunch boxes, then guitar cases, then walls and
practically anything that could be drawn on. Motor vehicles
only came much later.
And with the resurgence in popularity of "old school" flame
designs, and the addition of tribal flame designs, along with
the newer high-tech paints, it made sense to try and combine
the 2 for unique one-of-a-kind custom paint jobs.
The initial attempts at doing these designs, with automotive
paint, on metal, only happened 2 years ago, and the first jobs
were very rough. The comments again were favorable enough, so
the attempts continued.
Once a few paint jobs had been completed, again with favorable
results, it was time to invest in some good equipment.
High-quality low-volume airbrushes were purchased, along with
a constant-flow, low-pressure compressor. This specialized
equipment would compliment the automotive paint spray-guns.
Then it was practice, practice, practice.
Typical air compressors have very high pressure flow feeds,
but they are not constant, with surges and lows, not allowing
for a constant flow of paint. For large area coverage they
work just fine, but for detail work they flow too much paint.
So what started out as constant drawing on everything, turned
into a hobby, and now has grown to the stage that a way of
displaying these designs was needed. And a web-site made
perfect sense.
You have been looking at the outcome of all this practice, and
that’s how far Flameout Graphics has come. But the practice
continues, and experimenting with different paints and
techniques can be quite time consuming, but a lot of fun as
well.
The styles are infinite, from basic deep black, to various
single-color finishes, to multi-color finishes and designs, to
marbled textures, to three dimensional shadows, to single,
dual and even triple overlays, and the possibilities seem to
be endless.
And with all this practice, the products will continue to
become higher quality, but no steps will be shortened or
skipped just to meet any possible deadlines.
The goal at Flameout Graphics remains that the customer will
be very pleased with the custom paint jobs, and the final
product will exceed your expectations.
Please feel free to contact us with your mildest to wildest
dreams or ideas as we may be able to turn your imagination and
fantasy into reality.
Thanks for checking our web-site out, and keep the shiny side
up.
